Vedam is being remade in Tamil as
Vaanam. R.B. Chowdary of Supergood Movies bought the Tamil remake rights. Simbu will don the role of Cable Raju (originally played by Allu Arjun) in the Tamil version. Anushka reprises her role from the original. Now the latest buzz is that the film will not grace theatres for Diwali, as scheduled earlier, but is expected to release by the first week of December.
